CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS
May 29th, 2007
- Today we learned how to name organic compounds that have alkenes and other
functional groups on them. This material will be on the final exam and is
covered by ALE 5
- ALE 5, Group Activity 5, and Quiz 5, all of which we did today, are
posted. The answer key of quiz 5 will be posted by Thursday.
- A sample final exam and its key will be available by this weekend. The
final exam is on Tuesday, June 12th, from 6-8 pm in AS1614 where we meet on
Tuesdays.
- Group topic presentations is on Next Tuesday, June the 5th
- Thursday June 7th is an optional review of course material and a question
and answer session.
May 15th, 2007
- Exam 3 will be on next Tuesday, May 22nd. It will cover the last part
of chapter 14 and all of chapter 16. I will post exam study guide and
practice exam by Thursday.
- Quiz 4 and its answer key is posted here.
May 8th, 2007
- Quiz 4, worth 20 points will be on next Tuesday, May 15th. It will be on
chapter 14th.
- Exam 2 is graded and returned in the class today, Thursday , May 8th. You
all did well, so good job!

- Exam 2 is on next Tuesday, May 8th. Posted under "quizzes and
exams" link is exam 2 study guide
- Key for quiz 3 and a practice exam and its key will be available online on
Thursday afternoon
