BIOL 160

Ann J. Murkowski

Winter 2010

 Welcome!

Biology 160 is a terrific, fast-paced introduction to general biology, with an emphasis on the cell and genetics.  You'll get a broad overview of the field, and find yourself far more interested in all those headlines in the newspapers!  Are cloned animals safe to eat?  Should I be worried about genetic testing?  How does that new cancer treatment work?  Bio 160 can help with all these questions and more!

*Note that Biol 160 was formerly known as Bio 101.

I'm currently teaching two sections of Biology during Winter 2010!  Because the schedules of these two courses are slightly different, it's very important that you follow the correct link below!  If you have any questions about these courses, or our biology program, please email me!
