Much of Australia is desert but along the east coast it is very wet with a large preserve of tropical rain forest. The Daintree River is one of the main rivers through this area of Australia. It is a region of estruarian crocodiles, so as idealic as this river seems to be you shouldn't swim here. The crocodiles in this region grow up to 22 feet long and can hid in less than two feet of muddy water.
