"Villa Adriana of Hadrian, Tivoli, Italy 134ce"

Hadrian's Adriana Villa is just outside of Tivoli. On the side of the
hill Hadrian was able to catch the breeze during summer. He was a quite
a collector of art and had sculptors create copies of Greek classical
pieces for this estate in 126 -138ce. This area of the villa was known
as the Teatro Maritimo.
