"Funded through the 1/2 of 1% Art in Public Places Program of the Washington State Arts Commission. Funds were generated from the recent renovation and remodeling of the college’s Arts and Sciences Building and a $10,500 contribution from the college’s Student Government. Olympia artist, Ross Matteson was chosen by the college's Art Selection Committee from 175 artists in WSAC's Artists Resource Bank, the roster of artists eligible to be considered for Washington State's 1/2 of 1% Art in Public Places Program."
