For any article you want to include in your journal, you should have brief notes on the way in which the material touches on the following issues..

As you read be using notes to connect the material to any or all of the following:

• the region you are studying for the term
• the issues you are studying for the term
• or the material in the text that we've covered so far
• the three theories of liberalism, realism and radicalism (ch3)
• the levels of analysis issue (ch3)
