Region Report

You need to educate me and your classmates about the international relations occuring in some "region of the globe." You may work in groups of 1-4 persons.

You may

  • give a 3-5 minute in class presentation,
  • post a 3-5 minute powerpoint movie to WebCT
  • or develop a website with pictures, text and sound.
  • or any other product you think would help classmates learn about International relations and your region.

To get a C you have to list the countries are in the region. identify the region's local international leaders and describe the relationships in the region to one another

To get a B you would have to identify the important international organizations and aggreementsin the region and describe the balance of power in the region.

To get an A you would have to do the above two things and use one of the theories in Mingst to analyze the International relations in the region.

Try to use a theoretical concept or two to help you pick and choose what information to pack into your 3-5 minutes (more for groups is better).
