I'm the Chemistry Department co-Coordinator, an undergraduate research advisor, researcher, the Womxn in Science and Engineering faculty advisor, and a chemistry faculty member here at North.

About me (CV):

I'm a born and raised Washingtonian with my undergrad degree is in East Asian Studies and Japanese from Western Washington University.

My PhD is in Analytical Chemistry from University of Washington (UW).

My postdoctoral research was with the Program on Climate Change at UW.

I helped develop and taught the following UW courses:

POE 203: Environmental Case Studies: Global Climate Change

BLS 482: Problems in Interdisciplinary Science: Environmental Issues in Asia

ATM493: Understanding Climate Change: A course for middle and high school teachers.

At UW-Seattle I also designed and taught a UW summer high school course on climate change and videography: Climate Quest.
