8. In your own words, explain DNS. What is happening behind the scenes when you type a URL into a web browser? (2 points)
9. Use your textbook to look up the following organizations: W3C, IETF, and ICANN. Tell me what the acronyms stand for and in your own words, give a brief description of what each of them does. (3 points)
10. Login to the Discussion Board and post a short biography (75 - 100 words) and a digital photo to the Biographies topic. Include information like your background, interest in taking the class, career goals, and personal interests and hobbies. (2 points)
