IT 111 Final Web Site Project Part 3
This part of your final project is due by 11:59pm on Tuesday, August 10 and is worth 20 points.
WARNING: Please review the requirements for the final project before you complete this part of the assignment. Remember, your web site topic must be approved by me before you begin working on it.
Instructions
Code a template for your web site and copy it to your web account.
- Make sure it meets all the requirements for the final project by including:
- descriptive title - you do NOT need to include your last name or the last four digits from your SID.
- email link that is correctly coded
- copyright statement and/or last updated date
- external CSS file that handles all formatting and page layout (if you aren't using tables for your page layout).
- Apply the web design principles from Chapter 5.
- Include the primary navigation for your site and any logos or images you'll be using on the home page.
- Include enough content so your page layout works. You can generate "placeholder" text from the Lorem Ipsum Generator. View this short demo (2:55 minutes) on using it.
- Validate the template page for XHTML and CSS using the Unicorn validator..
- View a template example from a previous quarter. This was used for the Blue Chrome Games web site.
- Send me an email message with the subject Final Project Part 3 and include a link to your template. The link will follow the pattern:
