Bookfund Library

Running Start @ NSCC

Are you eligible for the free or reduced lunch program at your high school?

If your answer is yes, you may borrow books from the Running Start Program.

How do I begin borrowing books?

What if Im not sure I qualify for the free or reduced lunch program?

Where and when do I pick up my books?

When do I return my books?

Who should I contact with questions?

You may begin borrowing books by following these simple steps:

1. Complete the Running Start Bookfund Contract/Eligibility form. We need a new contract/eligibility form for every school year you are enrolled in Running Start.

2. Attach a copy of your reduced price meals eligibility letter from your school district. If your letter is not yet available at the beginning of the school year, ask your high school counselor or high school lunch room coordinator to sign the form.

3. Return the form and a copy of the eligibility letter to the Running Start Office at NSCC with the appropriate signatures.

Forms should be returned two weeks before each quarter begins. This allows you to pick up your required books before the quarter begins.

Important: If you turn in your Bookfund contract form without the supporting letter from your school district, make sure and turn in that letter by the time you register for the next quarter.
