Computer Based Mathematics Instruction PLATO Interactive Mathematics (formerly known as Academic Systems) is a self-paced individualized mathematics program with the material presented via computer software; further explanation is available in the textbook and from the instructor. The student attends class and has an opportunity to ask questions; they may also work in any open computer lab on campus or on their home computer.
