Angel Conferencing Site for Class Discussions

All discussions are held on a weekly basis using the Angel software program. For this orientation activity, the student will locate a discussion folder, read a welcome message from the instructor, and introduce him- or herself by replying to that message. The HEA150 online orientation is complete when this activity is finished.

bulletLog into the Angel courseware system. Your student identification number will serve as both your username and your password. If you have enrolled in the class within the last 24 hours, you may find you are not yet able to log into the system. If you cannot log in within 48 hours after registering, please contact the Distance Learning Office at 206-527-3738, or email at distance@sccd.ctc.edu .
bulletOnce you have successfully logged in, click on the HEA150 link toward the upper left part of the screen.
bulletAfter clicking, you should then see the course Lessons Page, as well as tabs toward the upper part of the screen. Click on the "Discussions" tab.
bulletYou should see a list of discussions on the right hand side of the screen, numbered on a week-by-week basis. You will be using these links to complete weekly discussions. You can also access discussions via the "Homework, Quizzes" tab.
bulletClick on the "Online Orientation Welcome" folder.
bulletLook for the "Welcome" link posted by your instructor, click on it, read it, and introduce yourself by clicking on the "reply" button, and sharing some information about yourself.
