Health and Human Sexuality (HEA150)

Welcome to the North Seattle Community College's "Virtual College." Here's a short guide and a few tips for navigating this course.

All the requirements of the class are described in the About This Class page, the equivalent of a course syllabus.

You will need to participate in an orientation before turning in any class work. You can show up to the in-person orientation, the date of which is scheduled in the published North Seattle Community College Quarterly Class Schedule. If you cannot attend the in-person orientation, you can participate in the on-line orientation, available at http://northonline.sccd.ctc.edu/hea150/ogo.htm.

You will use the Lessons link in the classroom a lot. It is your connection to the objectives, on-line course readings, assignments and discussions for each week. It is located at http://northonline.sccd.ctc.edu/hea150/lessons.htm. Once you reach this screen, be sure to "bookmark" it for easy accessibility.

At the Discussion Forum, located at http://northonline.sccd.ctc.edu/hea150disc/, you'll exchange ideas and observations about topics related to class. Bookmark this website.

Students may need to share e-mail addresses in order to complete the course requirements, though this has not been necessary since 1997. If you have concerns about sharing your email address, notify your instructor.

Additional learning tips, resources and links to campus information are available from the Virtual College home page.

We hope you enjoy the class and learn a lot!
