Beginning Weight Training (PEC 131)

Beginning Weight Training develops muscular strength and muscular endurance through progressive resistance training, using a variety of weight training equipment. Daily workouts consist of both individualized programs based on student goals as well as instructor-driven sessions such as circuit training, body conditioning, super-set, pyramid, and other structured sets. Includes supplemental information on topics related to weight training, fitness, health and nutrition. 2 credits.
