Intermediate Weight Training develops and enhances muscular strenth and muscular endurance through progressive resistance training, using a variety of weight training equipment. Designed to expand upon a general knowledge of basic weight training principles, systems, and concepts. Daily workouts consist of both individualized programs based on student goals as well as instructor-driven sessions such as circuit training, body conditioning, power training, negative training, and/or other structured sets. Includes supplemental information related to fitness, health, nutrition, ergogenic aids and body building. 2 credits.
