ENV 100 Lab Practical Information

-Be able to draw a scatterplot and best fit line based on data provided.

-Be able to state whether your best fit line indicates a positive correlation, a negative correlation, or no correlation between the variables

-Be able to draw a bar graph based on data provided

-Be able to draw a pie chart based on data provided

-Be able to explain how to prepare a wet-mount slide, for example, if you wanted to observe organisms in pond water.

-Know which type of soil falls to the lowest level of the seive used to separate soil components. Remember, the highest levels had strainers with the largest holes. The strainers at the bottom had the smallest holes.
